DNR Seeking Volunteers For Karner Blue Butterfly Monitoring
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking volunteers for the annual Karner Blue Butterfly Volunteer Monitoring Program to help survey for this endangered butterfly this summer in select counties throughout Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), in conjunction with the National Weather Service, has issued a Red Flag Warning for today, Monday, May 12, 2025 from noon to 9 p.m. for the following counties in northern Wisconsin: Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Dunn, Florence, Forest, Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Marinette, Oneida, Pierce, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, St. Croix, Vilas and Washburn.
